It is with great pleasure that we announce the upcoming CREW DC President's Dinner Series on July 14th, featuring Jodie W. McLean, a distinguished leader in the real estate sector.
Ms. McLean serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of EDENS, where her visionary leadership has driven the company's strategic expansion into major urban centers and first-ring suburbs. Over her more than thirty-year tenure, she has overseen the development, redevelopment, and disposition of more than $20 billion in retail real estate assets, positioning EDENS as a marketplace leader with assets valued at $6.6 billion.
Ms. McLean is renowned for her commitment to evolving retail beyond mere commerce, fostering community engagement through developments designed as authentic gathering places. Her influence extends beyond her company, with roles on the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond's board and directorships at Cushman & Wakefield and Milhaus.
She is also actively involved with the Real Estate Roundtable, ICSC, and ULI, exemplifying her dedication to leadership and community involvement. A native of Chicago, Ms. McLean holds a B.S. in Finance and Management from the University of South Carolina's Moore School of Business and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network's Liberty Fellowship.
