Breaking Boundaries within Your Organization and the Industry

Join us for a keynote presentation and fireside chat featuring Rebecca Shambaugh’s new research and extensive experience on how women can reach their full potential and bring greater value to their organizations by surpassing self-imposed limits, capitalizing on their strengths, and seizing opportunities presented during these unprecedented times. Acknowledging that we’re better together, we will continue the conversation with a panel on male allyship in the advancement of women leaders.

Rebecca Shambaugh is the founder of SHAMBAUGH Leadership and author of “It’s Not a Glass Ceiling, It’s a Sticky Floor” and “Make Room for Her: Why Companies Need an Integrated Leadership Model to Achieve Extraordinary Results."

Promoting male allyship involves encouraging men to actively support gender equality by listening to and amplifying women's voices, challenging sexist behaviors, and advocating for inclusive policies. This includes educating themselves on gender issues, speaking out against discrimination, and creating spaces where women feel valued and heard. By fostering a culture of mutual respect and understanding, male allies can play a crucial role in advancing gender equity in both personal and professional settings.

The event will take place in the newly renovated and reopened Grand Ballroom at the Willard Intercontinental. Continental breakfast and snack at the Networking Break will be served.
